Community offers a place to express our shared humanity and to work and play together. So much more is possible through the synergy of cooperation. The collective space has the potential for great creativity, deep insight, new forms of collective and social expression. How we come together in the common spaces between us is an indicator of our societal health. - Community psychology goes beyond an individual focus and integrates social, cultural, economic, political, environmental, and international influences to promote positive change, health, and empowerment at individual and systemic levels. I have experience working with a range of social technologies tools to create greater community cohesion - The Circle of Trust® approach is distinguished by principles and practices intended to create a process of shared exploration—in retreats, programs and other settings—where people can find safe space to nurture personal and professional integrity and the courage to act on it. In the hands of a knowledgeable and skilled facilitator, this approach has the power to transform communities. - Asset Based Community Development is a process of identifying the strengths in the community and activating individuals, NGOs, and institutions to come together to improve a situation. The focus is to use what is already in the community. Then to work together to build on the identified strengths of all involved. - Restorative Practice stretches on a continuum from facilitating processes to build and maintain rich relationships to restoring relationships where harm has been done. I am a trained mediator, conflict resolver and facilitator of circle talk able to enrich listening and understanding between people.
